Recently while making my morning coffee and drying and putting away dishes, I was struck by how the sunlight, filtering through three drinking glasses, was staining the woodgrain of the utility cart in the kitchen.

I’d normally just think, “Huh. Cool.”, and carry on, but this day I instead grabbed a step ladder and my camera and played around a bit.
