Ah, I love espresso! Sadly we’ve no room in the kitchen for a proper machine. I love discovering and tasting all the different ways that coffee can be brewed, and you’re so right: each comes with its own fascinating rituals.

By the way, I have since added a Bonvita temperature controlled kettle to my arsenal of coffee tools. It looks a lot like a classic tea pot — very elegantly curved. I keep meaning to write a follow-up article with my latest findings…
