I don't believe that 4-5 cups of coffee is unhealthy, unless you are adding dairy and sugar to all of those cups. There's plenty of medical evidence that 3-4 daily cups of black coffee can be beneficial. At least the positives outweigh the negatives, for most folks.

On the other hand, coffee making and the Search For The Perfect God Cup can become something of an obsession--I know this. :-) And that could be unhealthy for the bank balance.
